This collection consists of business records such as invoices, receipts, and letters, household repair/maintenance records, and floor plans that were curated in 1989 for the RISD museum from the A and L Tirocchi dressmaking business. The business was run by Anna and Laura Tirocchi in Providence, Rhode Island, circa 1912-1947.

Slides, photographs, negatives, documents, and one VHS tape document the From Paris to Providence: Fashion, Art, and the Tirocchi Dressmakers' Shop, 1915-1947 exhibition held 2001 January 12-April 8.

The collection consists of the Jesse Metcalf family papers including extensive correspondence, circa 1845-1894, and a family genealogy chart prepared circa 1918.

Records of the Treasurer document the financial history of Rhode Island School of Design, 1877-1991.
