Heinrich Schwarz papers
The Heinrich Schwarz papers document his personal and professional correspondence, 1940-1953, while at the Rhode Island School of Design, Museum of Art and include records documenting the activities of employees before and after his tenure, 1926-1942 and 1954-1970.
Helen Edwards Witchell papers
This series documents Helen Edwards Witchell's education, teaching career, and credentials, 1912-1932.
Helen M. Danforth papers
The bulk of the collection consists of Museum correspondence, 1926-1949, organized chronologically. Helen M. Danforth's correspondence with RISD's Presidents, 1947-1967, is included.
Henri Zerner papers
The records focus on acquisitions, gifts, and researcher queries. With the exception of one file containing correspondence (1961-1964) of Director David Giles Carter, the files include predominantly the outgoing letters (1965-1967) of Zerner.

A collection of metal drafting tools and student notes from John G. Hardy Jr.'s years of study at Rhode Island School of Design, 1930-1935, and his professional practice.
John R. Frazier speeches and writings
Speeches, 1955-1962, delivered primarily to RISD Trustees, faculty, and students comprise the bulk of the series. The Writings, circa 1948-1960, document the history of RISD and the Painting Department. In addition, the series includes Frazier's manuals for his Freehand Drawing classes.
L. Earle Rowe papers
The L. Earle Rowe papers, 1910-1937, include correspondence, diaries, lectures, notes, and publications.
Lee Hall records
Maintained primarily as notebook logs by the President's staff, the series contains photocopies of President Lee Hall's letters, memorandums, speeches, lectures and writings. Fourteen videotaped interviews with recipients of an Honorary Degree or Athena Award have been transferred from the Library.
Lorea Standish Adams papers
The Lorea Standish Adams papers contain art education materials made, drawn, or collected by the Rhode Island School of Design graduate (class of 1911), 1900-1920.
Loren and Elizabeth Slater Anthony papers
The Loren and Elizabeth Slater Anthony papers are a collection of notebooks, class notes, and reports created during their enrollment at Rhode Island School of Design, 1937-1942. The collection also includes samples of professional graphic design work done after graduation, circa 1948.
Louise E. Marianetti papers
This collection holds Louise E. Marianetti's sketches and drawings in portfolios as well as a large envelope with papers and a photo pertaining to Everett Marshall, her husband. Also included is one drawing by another RISD graduate, Rebecca Russell Greene.

Nancy Love papers
Typed research notes prepared by Nancy Love covering the period between 1878 and 1952 are based on Elsie Bronson's manuscript ("RISD: A Half-Century Record, 1878-1928," 1932) as well as catalogues, yearbooks, correspondence, and corporate/administrative records. Narrative reports provide information about the development of Departments, Divisions, and Administrative offices, 1945-1950. The materials in this collection were gathered in preparation for the RISD's 75th Anniversary.
